Who was your childhood idol? Why?
My mother…she has always worked hard to get where she wants to be in life. This is a life lesson that I am proud to have learned.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My twin sister.
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Why?
Oprah…I’d love to get her secret to success!
What is your favorite travel location?
Anywhere far from civilization!
What was the first sport you ever played?
I started running track when I was 10 years old, but my sister and I didn’t like running so we quit. Ironically, we ended up both attending the same college on full track scholarships.
What is your favorite sports memory?
In high school, getting my volleyball jersey retired. And every minute I spend wearing burgundy and gold!
What does it mean to you to be a D.C. Diva?
It means to make the ultimate sacrifice to do something that you truly love. To make lifetime friends out of strangers you probably wouldn’t meet otherwise. To share the same passion with 60 other women who bleed and sweat for the same purpose. To cry together, laugh together, sweat together, win and lose together.
