MC Lyte. She was confident, aggressive, spoke well, and presented herself with authority.

Whitney Bowen.

Leonardo da Vinci…he was arguably the most creative mind of our time, excelling in so many artistic and scientific areas.
Who is your female sports idol?
Ann Wolfe.
Who is your favorite NFL player? Why?
Larry Fitzgerald…he’s polite, humble, gives 100 percent, and is reliable in clutch situations.
What are your favorite hobbies or special interests?
Coin collecting, dancing, music, health and fitness, theology, astrology, and animal behavior.

Macaroni and cheese.

What are your lifetime aspirations?
To become a veterinarian, own several businesses, accumulate wealth, surround myself with healthy and progressive individuals, and affect those I encounter along the way in a positive light.
What was the first sport you ever played?
Tennis.
What is your favorite sports memory?
Beating my best friends and high school rivals in the Patriot District Basketball Finals.
How did you get into women’s football?
I discovered through a co-worker in 2000 that a league had been formed. I was just in my second semester of undergrad in Florida, however, and could not participate. I promised myself that as soon as I finished my master’s, I’d join the best team in the league.
What was your biggest adjustment to playing women’s football?
Getting hit…often!
If you could play any other position, which one would you choose? Why?
The one I’m in…defensive end! I get to be a hunter the entire game. It’s too perfect for me.
Why do you play women’s tackle football?
It’s the ultimate team sport and test of individual durability. I’ve wanted to play since I was six years old.
