I have been playing flag football in the Metropolitan Area Women’s Flag Football League (MAWFFL) for over five years. Prior to that, I played and refereed some flag football games at Purdue University. |
What is your most memorable Divas moment?

D.C. Divas at Philadelphia Liberty Belles in 2001. It was our first game, and we lost badly to a more experienced team. But it was the first time that I could fulfill a dream of playing tackle football. |
Why do you play women’s tackle football?
|
I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of the D.C. Divas women’s football team. I think it’s a dream come true, for the team and me, to experience this new era in women’s sports. |
What does it mean to you to be a Diva?

A D.C. Diva is a woman who loves to play smash-mouth football, has good sportsmanship, and is proud to represent women in sports. |
