Dr. Kenneth Fine Bio

Dr. Kenneth Fine has extensive experience caring for athletes at all levels, from recreational to elite. He earned his medical degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fine was among the first group of surgeons in the country to become subspecialty certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

Dr. Fine provided medical care for Olympic soccer teams during the 1996 Summer Olympics, was co-medical director for the World Figure Skating championships in 2003 and 2008, and served as the physician for the Junior U.S. Boxing Championships. He has been the medical director for the Cherry Blossom 10-mile road race, the National Race for the Cure, and several other road races and soccer tournaments. Dr. Fine has been the team physician for George Washington University’s athletic teams and is currently the team physician and medical director of the D.C. United professional soccer team.
