Coach Jaycee Williams Bio

Coach John “J.C.” Williams, known as Jaycee, served in the Air Force and has flown on Air Force One with President George W. Bush as part of his flight detail. Both Coach Williams and Coach Orlando Brown serve on President Bush’s flight detail, bringing awareness of women’s football and the D.C. Divas all the way to the White House!

Coach Jaycee Williams played quarterback at North Carolina A&T University, which gave him the experience necessary to mentor the Divas’ quarterbacks for five seasons.

Who was your childhood idol? Why?
Bill Cosby…I appreciated the positive husband and father he portrayed and the humore he displayed while starring in his television sitcom.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My family.
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Why?
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr…I have so many questions for him, mainly how he found the strength to go against the odds.
Who is your favorite NFL player? Why?
Joe Montana…he made the most of his talents on the field, and he used his knowledge of the game to beat defenses.
What are your favorite hobbies or special interests?
Reading, sports, computers, and aviation.
What is your favorite travel location?
Cancun, Mexico.
What is your favorite book?
How Ya Livin’, by Jonathan Lockett.
What is your favorite food?
Steak.
Who is your favorite artist?
Phil Perry.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Caring, positive, strong.
What are your lifetime aspirations?
To become a husband and to own my own business.
What Diva game has impacted you the most? Why?
Winning the 2006 national championship…the expressions on the faces of all the Divas after the game was amazing and is difficult to put in words.
What is your proudest Diva moment?
Establishing a trust between my quarterbacks over the past four years.
