2004 Pigskin Club Posey Award

Allyson Hamlin’s 2004 season was one to remember. Hamlin capped her season by becoming only the second winner of the Posey Award for women’s football, granted by the Pigskin Club of Washington, DC. Donna Wilkinson was the first female recipient, honored for her performance in 2003.

The Posey Award is given to the best female and male pro players in the DC area. The 2004 season saw Allyson Hamlin set team records for yards passing in a season (343) and passing touchdowns (five). She led the Divas to a 9-1 record and is 17-3 over the last two seasons as a starter.

The D.C. Divas congratulate Allyson Hamlin on this special honor.
